Betti was born and raised in Penticton BC. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Saskatchewan and Alberta, respectively, followed by a foray into business. Betti envisioned and developed a chemical-free cleaning company in Saskatoon, SK and Calgary, AB followed by a return to BC for her law degree at Thompson Rivers University (TRU).
During her time in law school, she volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada promoting a legal clinic in assistance of marginally housed individuals and worked as a Research Assistant collecting empirical research for the eventual implementation of a new mental health community court in Kamloops, BC. Betti was the first Thompson Rivers University Law student to ever place in the Macintyre Cup Oral Advocacy Criminal Law Moot and subsequently qualified and proudly represented TRU Law at the Sopinka Cup in Ottawa in March 2019.
Betti is known for her zealous advocacy and strong communication style with clients. She believes that justice is for all individuals regardless of financial ability, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender identity, religion, mental or physical ability, national or ethnic origin, colour, age or citizenship and she accepts both private and legal aid clientele. Regardless of ability to pay, Betti strives to find efficient and cost-effective methods of advocacy in a desire to build long term satisfaction in her clients and to support her neighbours in the communities within which she serves.
Betti is currently called to the British Columbia and Alberta Bars and is entitled to practice law in both BC and Alberta.
